We stock steel tubes in non-prime, second-hand and prime and these are offered in long welded, spiral welded and seamless.
Non-prime tube is new, but supplied without mill certificates. This material is normally a mill over-rolling, down graded, surplus quantity from a completed contract or redundant stock. Non-prime steel tubes can be offered at a substantially discounted price against prime.We are pleased to offer independent chemical analysis to identify the specification if you require.
It is a company policy that all surplus and second-hand materials are inspected to examine the quality prior to purchase.
Steel Tube Cutting
Ogden Transteel can arrange to have your steel tubes sawn cut up to 762.0 mm diameter.
Large diameter tubes are flame cut using a Hancock pipe cutting machine ensuring you receive true cut ends.
Bevelled ends can also be supplied using our Hancock machines.
The normal tolerances for flame cutting is -0 mm / + 6mm and on the saw cutting -0mm / + 3 mm, other tolerances are available on request.
