We can have lab testing work undertaken on your chosen materials prior to your order.
Mill certification is not normally available with Non Prime steel, however we are always happy to arrange for independent tests to confirm the chemical and mechanical properties of our material.
The normal tests that are requested are: Chemical Analysis, Charpy Impact tests and UTS testing ( Yield, Tensile and Elongation properties ).
More extensive testing, including ultrasonic, magnetic particle and even radiography can also be arranged if required.
We only use UKAS approved laboratories.
